Part of Interstate 39 will be closed overnight. The Illinois Department of Transportation will reroute southbound traffic from exit 51 at Illinois 71 near Oglesby to exit 41 at Illinois 18 near Lostant. A bridge over Sandy Creek is being repaired. So is a Norfolk Southern Railroad track. That ten mile segment of Interstate 39 will be closed from 6:30pm tonight (Thursday, November 4) until possibly as late as 9am tomorrow.
