A Peru homeowner wants something to be done about standing water at 7th St. between Calhoun and Church Street.
Jim Sorrentino says that it can be bad during winter when cars drive through the standing water and causes the sidewalks to become icy.
He says it could affect more than just the neighborhood.
He says there are a lot of cars that park in the Roosevelt School parking lot.
Sorrention says this is caused by storm sewer separation the city has been doing.
3rd Ward Alderman David Waldorf says he’ll talk to City Engineer Eric Carls and come up with a plan.
