Two unrelated high speed chase cases aren’t ready for trial in LaSalle County yet. Thirty-eight year old James Tracy of Thompson is getting mental health treatment. He’s accused of trying to run over a police office during a chase from the Lostant area to Marshall County and to Utica in April.
Meanwhile, an evaluation is scheduled for 39-year old Brad Johnson of Machesney Park. He’s accused of making a shank out of a leg brace and attacking three LaSalle County jail employees with it after an April chase from the LaSalle-Peru area almost all the way to Ottawa.
