An Ottawa man is beginning two-and-a-half years on probation for pointing a gun at someone in Ottawa nine months ago. Prosecutors say someone said something about 25-year old Robert A. Alaimo’s driving while he was doing a delivery for a pizza restaurant. Alaimo followed the person to the Mr. J’s Hot Dogs and Gyro’s parking lot and pointed a .38 caliber revolver at him.
Alaimo pleaded guilty today to aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Prosecutor Matt Kidder told Judge H. Chris Ryan a video surveillance camera caught the incident. As part of the plea agreement, Alaimo is to get an anger management evaluation.
