The city of Mendota Streets Department says leaf pickup has started.
The department says it starts at 6:30 in the morning.
They ask that people don’t park their cars near the leaf piles so the machines can get them.
Also keep piles away from utility poles, guard wires, and street signs.
And last, the department says make sure that sticks aren’t in the leaf piles because they can damage the machine.
