Recoveries outnumbered new coronavirus cases during the last week, but LaSalle County is still in orange warning status. The LaSalle County Health Department says just 17.2% of intensive care unit beds in the region are available. And the new case rate is 120.55 per 100,000 people per week.
The number of current cases has dropped below 1,000. There are 949 as of Friday. But two more deaths were reported during the last week. A woman in her 70’s and another in her 80’s died.
