A trial has been scheduled for 38-year old Donald A. Fredres of Sandwich. Judge H. Chris Ryan today scheduled it for January 10th. Fredres is accused of killing his ex-wife’s parents in their home near Sheridan in March and of trying to killing his ex-wife.
Sixty-two year olds Brenda and Gregory Barnes were shot to death in their home on March 16th. Windows were shot out at his wife’s home the same night.
Fredres has been through a mental health evaluation and was found fit for trial.
