There could be some new artwork decorating the entryways at the LaSalle County Nursing Home soon. Administrator Carrie Becker wants it to honor people who’ve died during the pandemic. She told the County Board’s nursing home committee this week, she’s looking for appropriate art to go at the home’s entrances.
Becker also told the committee she hopes it can meet again at the nursing home soon. Since the pandemic began, its meetings have been at the Etna Rd. courthouse in Ottawa.
