Daily discussions are happening among several police agencies looking into what happened to 25-year old Jelani Day. The Illinois State University graduate student disappeared more than a month ago. His car showed up in Peru a few days later and searchers found his body in the Illinois River near LaSalle on September 4th. LaSalle County Sheriff Adam Diss says his department, Illinois State Police, the FBI, and police from LaSalle, Peru, and Bloomington are sharing tips, leads, and whatever new information they learn every day.
