The Marseilles Elementary School District is starting to get some food to serve lunch to students.
Supt. Brenda Donahue says for three weeks the elementary school didn’t have any shipments come in because of a lack of people who can deliver.
Donahue says last week they got a shipment but they are also trying other ways to bring lunch to kids.
She says that the district is working with another company to try and get food as well.
Donahue says that the district even offered to pick it up themselves but the company said that it couldn’t happen.
She says they are taking this issue one week at a time.
