In coordination with the Festival of the Arts the Ottawa Scarecrow Festival will happen on Saturday.
Ottawa Chamber Executive Director Jeff Hettrick says anyone can decorate a scarecrow for the festival.
He says that there are different categories and there are prizes for the winner who decorates the best scarecrow.
Hettrick says the theme for this year’s festival is “Hooray for Hollywood.”
He says judging will start at 10am.
He also says anyone who wants to come look at the scarecrows in Washington Square Park should.
