Oglesby Commissioner Jason Curran says the city re-signed an agreement with the U.S Environmental Protection Agency.
He says the EPA did some changes to the language in the contract to build a new wastewater treatment plant.
Curran says the EPA wanted a quick answer to all the steps the city has to do.
He says the agreement shows how all the steps will get done.
Curran says the current plant is between 60 and 70 years old.
The city was originally supposed to have a new plant by 2023.
