Water main flushing is starting next week in Ottawa. The city does this every year to make sure fire hydrants don’t have any loose corrosion and particles and to make sure the fire hydrants work. Residents could experience little to no water pressure and rusty water because of the flushing. Residents need to just run the water until it looks clear.
