The Lake Barrington man charged with drug induced homicide for a 15-year old’s death in LaSalle County will get a certain prison sentence if he’s convicted. Fifty-five year old Brian Mulcahy would get a 15 to 30 year sentence in the normal range, or up to 60 years if the circumstances make him eligible for a longer term. Judge Cynthia Raccuglia scheduled a November 29th trial for him. Mulcahy is accused of supplying a lethal dose of heroin laced with fentanyl to a teen in Marseilles in April.
