A woman’s body has been found on land owned by a gravel and sand company in Ottawa.
Lasalle County Sheriff Adam Diss says officers were called around 4:40 on Tuesday to U.S Silica’s South Pit off of IL 71.
Diss says the call was about a person that was found dead.
He says the investigation is still ongoing.
