Ottawa High School might test students and staff for the coronavirus. Supt. Mike Cushing will speak with representatives of Shield Illinois Wednesday. It offers a saliva test and results within 24 hours.
This year, the school district isn’t asking students and staff to self-certify that they have no symptoms. As of Monday, Cushing says 93% of staff and 40% of students were considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
