Ottawa’s Eastside Park is partially open with new playground equipment. City Commissioner Marla Rodriguez says the park needs some mulch around some of the equipment. And it needs some landscaping. Kids are already playing on the equipment that’s not fenced off.
City Hall has hired NuToys Leisure Products of LaGrange to do the rest of the work.
Some of the Eastside Park playground equipment remains fenced off until mulch covers the gravel floor beneath it.
As soon as mulch surrounds this equipment at Ottawa’s Eastside Park, the fence keeping children out can be removed.
