Chairman of the Lasalle County Republican Party Larry Smith says that candidates running for various elections not only believe in conservative principles, but live them.
Smith says that there is a groundswell of conservatism happening all over Illinois and it some of it is because of laws that could be passed by Governor Pritzker.
One of them Smith says is the National Sex Education Standards proposal that made it through the general assembly, and another is policing.
He says if the proposal becomes law, it would ruin children’s lives.
Smith also says police officers can’t afford a lawsuit on a $40,000 salary.
