An autopsy has been done on a Braceville, IL man who was found floating in Shadow Lakes east of Coal City.
56-year old Richard R. Smith was found floating near his kayak.
He was taken to a Morris hospital by Coal City EMS and was pronounced dead.
Grundy County Coroner John Callahan says the investigation is ongoing with help from conservation police.
This happened over the holiday weekend on Saturday.
