There will be a meeting in Marseilles to discuss the Community Development Block Grant the city is going to apply for once again.
It’s on July 1st at 6pm at the Marseilles Firehouse.
Mayor Jim Hollenbeck says after the first time the city applied for it two years ago was met with very positive reviews.
The grant will be used to help citizens with low income housing.
Hollenbeck says this time it will be in the area of Main Street east to Chicago and East Bluff Street south to the Illinois River.
