Oglesby is among the communities having summer festivals for the first time in two years. City Clerk Amy Eitutis says the Summer Fun Fest runs through Sunday.
Something new this year is the foam party. It’s for kids up to 13 years old and will be from 11am to 2pm Saturday. A foam cannon will shoot something like bubble bath foam while a DJ plays music and a magician does tricks.
The festival is in the area of the city swimming pool on E. Walnut St. For more information, go to the Oglesby Summer Fun Fest web site.
