Peru police say a pink sandal was found at the crime scene Monday morning where a teenage girl or woman was abducted. Someone who lives in the area of 7th and Plum streets heard a scream just before 5am. She looked out her window and saw a woman down the street in some kind of encounter with one or two men in a white sport utility vehicle. Police and the FBI believe it was an abduction. The sandal is described as made of pink tye-dye colored rubber, of the Rouge brand, size 7.5.
