Two Lasalle County Libraries have announced that their hours have extended for the summer.
Both Reddick Library in Ottawa and Peru Public Library will be staying open later then the past.
Peru Library Director Charm Ruhnke says the library will start to open at 9am Monday through Saturday because it will allow greater access to their patrons and move the library closer to a pre-covid schedule.
New hours for Peru Library will be Monday through Thursday 9am to 6pm Friday 9am to 4pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.
Reddick Public Library in Ottawa’s new hour are already in effect and are Monday through Thursday 9am to 7pm and Friday and Saturday 9am to 5pm.
