A citizen of Marseilles is asking the city to help in participating in an event that raises money to research metastatic breast cancer.
April Courtright said at last week’s Marseilles City Council Meeting that her chances of living are extremely low.
Courtright says that unfortunately the life expectancy for her is just under three years.
Courtright says that metastatic breast cancer isn’t a rare form but rather she’s saying she has stage four Cancer.
She’s asking the city to help participate in an event called Light Up MBC which is to raise money for research.
Courtright said she was diagnosed at the end of 2019 at the age of 33.
