Local Habitat For Humanity Executive Director Sally Van Cura says you’d have to go at least 50 miles from Peru to find another ReStore home improvement resale shop. But she says you won’t find another one with a community center. ReStore manager Michelle Dzierzynski says the room named for the Miller Charitable Trust is ready to host functions for free.
It could have already hosted a local company’s training sessions. But Dzierzynski got COVID-19 and that delayed opening the ReStore. The ReStore opens at 1011 Shooting Park Rd. tomorrow with a mixed of paid staff and volunteers.
