Betty Jo Foutch, 81, of Marseilles, passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at her home surrounded by her family.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at Seals-Campbell Funeral Home. Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Marseilles United Methodist Church with Pastor Shawn Saldano officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Marseilles.
Betty Jo was born on February 27, 1945, in Ottawa, IL, to Claude Julius and Margaret Evelyn (Wiley) Witte. She was married to Jack Foutch, who preceded her in death in 2005.
She was a member of the Marseilles United Methodist Church and served as their secretary for 34 years. She was employed by Walmart for over 20 years and later worked at D&S in Marseilles. She was a founding member of the Marseilles Area Ambulance Service. Betty Jo also ran the concession stand at the Marseilles Pool for 13 years. She loved going to the Sandwich Fair.
Betty Jo is survived by her children, Dean Orville (Stephanie) Foutch and Marjorie Dawn (Arnold) Eckhardt; five grandchildren, Michael Potts, Mackenzie Foutch, Devin, Dawn, and Hailey Hudkins; her cat companion, Tipper; one brother, Bill (Carol) Witte; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Claudette Elzer; one nephew, Norman Elzer; and her brother-in-law, John Elzer.
