Ottawa City Commissioner Marla Rodriguez says for some reason it’s harder this year to find someone who can run the popcorn wagon. And the summer activity season’s coming quick. City Hall wants those applications in and to pick someone soon.
Rodriguez says the city’s not telling the operators what hours to run this year. Whoever does it needs to pay for their own supplies and get the required health department certification. The city provides the location and business setting.
