The Lasalle County Board last Thursday voted to keep the same number of board members.
29 districts represent different cities and rural areas and all of them are going to stay because according to the board there will be a delay in the 2020 census because of the pandemic.
Two members of the county board voted against the resolution.
With the vote each member will either two or four year terms through the end of the decade.
The boundaries for the county board districts will be determined by the Lasalle County Board or the Lasalle County Apportionment Commission once the population has been updated.
