Timothy Boulden, 62, of Ottawa, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at the Lightways Hospice Care in Joliet.
A Memorial visitation will be held from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Burial will follow at Oakwood Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life will follow burial at the home of his daughter.
Tim was born on April 11, 1964 in Rochelle, IL to Harold and Betty (Crouch) Boulden. He worked as a Pressman for Sigma Graphics for 26 years. Tim married Becky Johnston on August 12, 1994 at Starved Rock Lodge. He loved bike rides, long walks, and relaxing with a good brew. But what meant the most to him was times spent with family and his nephews, who all brought him endless joy. He was a loyal Florida Gators football fan. Tim will always be remembered for his goofy personality and quick humor that could make anyone around him smile. He had a gift for making people laugh and lifting the spirits of those around him.
He is survived by his wife, Becky Boulden of Ottawa; two daughters, Kelly (Matt) Cooper and Mikaela (Cesar) Espinoza; a son Jess Monroe; eight grandchildren, Kaylee, Michael, Makenzee, Brinlee, Emmett, Nikolas, Eli, and granddaughter on the way: Avelina; a brother, Terry (Stephanie) Boulden, many nephews, and a niece.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Betty Boulden; and a sister, Tammy Barstow.
