To train people for work in the cannabis industry, Illinois Valley Community College is starting a new ten-hour one-semester certificate program. The advanced cannabis production certificate got the Board of Trustees’ approval this week. The courses taken to earn it will be on advanced cannabis production, an introduction to agricultural business management, and greenhouse management. It starts this fall.
