Nancy (Carlson) Newberg, 73, of Ottawa, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.

Nancy was born on May 5, 1952 in Chicago to Robert and Dorothy Carlson. She worked in Human Resources. Nancy married Thomas Newberg on September 20, 2001. She was an avid Elvis Presley fan.

She is survived her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Dorothy Carlson; her husband, Thomas Newberg; and four children.
