Dan McGinnis, 84 of Ottawa passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at St. Columba Church, with Rev. Nicolas Wilson officiating. Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.
Daniel was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who took great pride in both his faith and his work. He helped build two Catholic churches and spent decades building Elections companies, eventually founding his own. He approached both family and business with commitment, perseverance, and quiet strength. His legacy lives on in the buildings he helped construct and the family he loved deeply.
Survived by his beloved wife, Antoinette, his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Friendship House in Ottawa.
