Linda Mae Jones, 73, of Utica, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at OSF St. Elizabeth in Peru. Private services will be held. Burial will be in Waltham Cemetery.
Linda was born July 2, 1952, in Princeton, IL, to Lester and Eleanor (May) Schultz. She grew up on a farm and was a lifelong farm girl. She worked as an ICU Nurse for over 20 years, and when she retired from the hospital, she became a realtor for Century 21, where she loved helping young couples buy their first home. She enjoyed traveling, especially to St. Pete Beach in Florida. She was an animal lover and always supported her favorite shelter, Pet Project.
Her children were her whole world. After they passed, she shared a special bond with her only granddaughter, Avery. She is preceded in death by her children, Christa (Jones) Demo and Chad Jones. Memorial contributions in her honor may be directed to Pet Project.
