Marcia Kay (Reynolds) Myers, blessed us born on October 25th, 1956. After her body’s struggle with cancer, she found a peaceful transition to the ancestors on January 12th, 2026. Her daughter, Sunshine Thunderchief, ever by her side and her beloved, furry son Sampson offered gentle nuzzles, whispers and music.

Visitation will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 at the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa.

She was wrapped in love and light by those passed: dearest parents Roy and Anne (Stohr) Reynolds, partner William Roberts, family including Heather Sensiba, and friends like Mellow, Odin, and Freedom doggies snuggling and guiding her.

She was admired and adored by her closest: brothers– Roy Reynolds, Paul (Maureen) Reynolds, sister– Patricia Sensiba, nieces and nephews– Jamie (George) Brewer, Renae (Chris) Lentz, Jason (Nancy) Sensiba, Stephenie Carmin, Patrick, Brent, and Mark Hirschman, Jeff, Josh, and Jacob Sensiba, and Mackenzie, Sophia, and Olivia Lentz, and extensive loved ones. Her partner’s family was dear: Krystal (Jenny) Taylor, Nathan Roberts, Rita Roberts, Rebecca (Jeff) Stiles, Alexis and Austin Jackson.

Marcia was a smart and witty, glass- ceiling breaker, and prospered in IT since the early days of the computer. She always loved photography and music and was bursting with creativity! She was the most compassionate and kind caregiver of us all and was cherished by her friends throughout her life. Her deepest passion was nature! She was a true tree- hugger and found joy in hiking with brother Roy and great-nephew Josh with Sammy meeting her stride in all of the National Parks. Her love of animals led her to a long career at Petsmart networking and continuing to inspire. Marcia is forever sunlight!
