After a year of being “on hold” Ottawa will be hosting the Illinois Grape Growers and Vintners Alliance for an event called “Ottawa Uncorked”
The event will take place the weekend of June 5th and 6th.
Ottawa Visitors Center Director Curt Bedei says it’s exciting to have an event to announce.
He says as people are getting vaccinated they are getting more comfortable hosting and coming to events.
The event will be held at The Jordan Block and also at Washington Square Park to help with social distancing.
Some ticket sales will be sold the day of in Washington Square Park.
The event will showcase wineries from all around the state in which attendees can sample and purchase wine.
