A Louisville farmer and Illinois state senator is running to unseat Governor Pritzker.
Darren Bailey who represents the 55th senate district in Illinois says he and his workers were affected by a 34 billion dollar state budget in 2017.
He says that 1,200 dollars for no reason would be taken out of the paychecks of the people that worked with him on the farm.
He says through prayer, fasting and the encouragement of friends and family he ran and won a seat in the state assembly.
Bailey says if elected one of the first things he wants to do is end tax payer funded abortions.
He claims that his work in Illinois is consistent and has all been documented on a daily basis which can be seen on social media.
