The Bruins Quarterback Braden Damerell finished with 105 rushing yards and a TD and threw for 89 yards and a score.
Ottawa defeated St Bede in Girls Softball 5-0.
The Lady Pirates Abby Bukantis threw a no-hit shutout, striking out 13 and walking just one.
Shepherd 8th grade girls won the Starved Rock Conference by defeating Princeton 65-6 in basketball.
Leading the Lady Rams were Marlie Orlandi with 13 points, Chloe Larson had 12 points and Hailey Larsen added 11 points. The Shepherd Lady Rams are now 8-0.

The White Sox scored early and pounded out eleven hits on the way to an 8-4 home victory over Texas. The win was the fourth in a row for the Sox and completed a three-game sweep over the Rangers. Jose Abreu had a homer and a sac fly for the South-Siders who will welcome the Detroit Tigers to Guaranteed Rate Field tomorrow.
The Cubs fell apart in the ninth inning as the Brewers took the rubber game of the series 6-0. Down by only one run heading into the ninth inning, the Cubs allowed the Brewers to score five-runs, including one on a bases-loaded hit-by-pitch. The Cubs will now head to Atlanta to start a four-game set with the Braves starting tonight
The St. Louis Cardinals finished off a three-game sweep with a 5-2 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. Cardinals’ starter Jack Flaherty pitched seven strong innings with six strikeouts to get his fourth win of the year. The Cards will continue their homestand tonight when they host the Phillies
The Chicago Bulls will look for revenge tonight when they match up again with the Heat in Miami. The Bulls lost to the Heat in the first game of this two-game road series on Saturday and are now 25-and-35 on the season.
Brad Keselowski surged to the front on the final lap to take the Geico 500 at Talladega in NASCAR.
