Bond is set at $3 million for 29-year old Michael S. Swift of Mokena. He was arrested Monday in connection with a murder on Ottawa’s south side. State’s Attorney Todd Martin says he’ll provide more details about what Swift is accused of during a news conference tomorrow. Ottawa police went to the 300 block of W. McKinley Rd. Monday morning to investigate a report of a woman stabbed. That turned out to be a coroner’s case that led to Swift’s arrest.
