LaSalle County’s 1st installment of Real Estate Taxes
Are Due On Thursday, July 11th
Due Date
I’d like to extend a reminder to the Real Estate taxpayers of LaSalle County that the first installment of Real Estate Taxes is due and payable on Thursday, July 11th.
Late Payment
Illinois Statute requires a 1 ½ % per month delinquency penalty beginning the day after the due date. This penalty begins Friday July 12h.
The second installment is due on Monday, September 9th.
Convenient Payment Options
1. PAY ONLINE
Ø Credit Card Ø Go to www.lasallecountytreasurer.com and under the payments tab click on “Pay property tax online.”
· Credit Card payments may also be made in the Treasurer’s Office.
· A convenience fee of approximately 2.4% is charged by the credit card processors.
Ø E CHECK OR Automatic Withdrawal from a Checking or Savings account. Ø To sign up for this service go to our website at www.lasallecountytreasurer.com and under the payments tab click on “Pay property tax online.”
· There is $1.00 per parcel fee for this service.
· For Automatic Withdrawal, taxes will be withdrawn on the day before tax due dates and reoccurs every year until cancelled.
2. Pay By Phone 1-815-393-2688 with Credit Card or E check.
Ø A convenience fee of approximately 2.4% is charged by the credit card processors when paying by credit card.
Ø There is $1.00 per parcel fee when paying by e-check.
3. Pay by Check – make checks payable to “LaSalle County Collector” at:
Ø Local financial institutions.
Ø The Treasurer’s Office via:
ü Drive-through drop box, east parking lot on East Etna Road (24 hours).
ü Delivered inside during office hours (patience required—may be long lines).
ü Mail to the Treasurer’s Office.
