LaSalle County Coroner Rich Ploch hasn’t said yet what happened to the man found dead in the Illinois River in Ottawa Friday. Donald Lee Renz was 63 years old. The Ottawa man’s body was found in the water near the Illinois 23 Veterans Memorial Bridge by Allen Park. Ploch says the case is still being investigated.
