The Heritage Corridor Convention and Visitors Bureau’s plan is to have people crossing LaSalle and Livingston counties this summer—Looking for Lincoln. President and CEO Bob Navarro says Abraham Lincoln may be represented as a drawing or a silhouette in one place, a statue in another, and yet another form somewhere else. When people find him, following the clues that will be put out, they can prove it to win a prize.

Looking for Lincoln will go on from Memorial Day to Labor Day. There’ll be ten LaSalle County locations and five Livingston County locations at which to find him. The goal is to promote visits to other places nearby.
