Early voting has begun for the April 6 consolidated election. LaSalle County Clerk Lori Bongartz says it’s being done in person from 8am to 4:30pm Monday through Friday and 8am to noon on Saturdays on the east side of the Etna Rd. courthouse.
People can also ask for ballots by mail by calling the County Clerk’s Office or going to the office’s web site to request the ballot. There are township, city and village, and school board races to decide. But Bongartz isn’t expecting nearly the level of interest as in November’s presidential race, although she says people ought to care.
