The L-P Co-Op boys swim team lost to Dunlap 121-119 but outscored Kewanee-Wethersfield who finished with 19 points.

The Illinois Department of Public Health will allow schools in regions under Phase 4 of COVID-19 guidelines to have up to 20% capacity for outdoor events. Currently, there is a limit of 50 spectators for indoor events.
With this change, schools will be able to allow many more fans than they have had for the winter sports events.
Girls volleyball, which will be starting their matches soon, will remain at the limit of 50 spectators since it is played indoors.
Due to a recent outbreak of COVID-19 at L-P High School, the district has put a halt to all athletics and activities through March 13.
With no practices allowed through the 13th, the Cavalier football team won’t meet the minimum number of practices required to play Week 1 at Sandwich on March 20 and the game has been postponed.

The Cardinals played to a 7-7 tie against the Marlins in Jupiter, Florida. Tyler O’Neill smacked a three-run double for St. Louis. The Cards visit the Mets today.
