LaSalle-Peru High School students will be on remote learning immediately. The building will be closed Tuesday. In person events, including sports, are cancelled through Saturday. An announcement from the school says it’s because of high COVID-19 numbers.
The announcement says nine individuals at the school meet the criteria for infections that can be linked in place and time. Just five puts a school at outbreak status defined by the Illinois Dept. of Public Health.
