It’s time for repairs again under the Fox River Main St. bridge in Ottawa. City Engineer Tom Duttlinger says when the river floods, forces from the moving water scour out the river bottom around the bridge supports.
Ottawa City Hall hired Chamlin and Associates to come up with a solution. What happened to the one to two foot pieces of rip rap? Duttlinger thinks they’re likely a little ways down the river.
