(Buffalo, NY) — A total solar eclipse will cross North America this spring. On April 8th, Americans in 15 states will be able to see the moon almost totally cover the sun, casting a shadow over it and creating the effect of a fiery ring in the sky. Some of the states in the path are Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Ohio, New York and Maine. Skies will temporarily darken in the path of totality, but in all other states in the U.S., viewers will be able to see a partial solar eclipse with the moon appearing to take a “bite” out of the sun.
