Stephanie Elaine Smith, 35, of Ottawa

Stephanie Elaine Smith, 35, of Ottawa, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024.

Cremation rites have been entrusted to Ottawa Funeral Home.

Stephanie was born on April 15, 1988, in Lancaster, PA, to Allen W. and Stephanie R. (Walter) Smith.

Stephanie graduated from Ottawa High School class of 2006. She went on to horseshoeing school and received her farrier certification. Stephanie loved to collect Charlie Bears and had many of them. She enjoyed Christian music and loved singing. She enjoyed doing crafts and helping her mom around the house. She was a very gifted artist and drew and colored many beautiful pieces. When she wasn’t drawing or helping around the house, she enjoyed watching anime.

She is survived by her parents, Allen and Stephanie Smith; her siblings, Christopher Smith, Stacey (Jeremy) Hatch, and Stephen (Andrea) Smith; her nieces and nephews, Eleanor, Gus, and Magnolia Hatch, and Sophie Smith; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Jackson and Evangeline Walter; her paternal grandparents, Albert and Francis Smith; her uncle, Stephen Walter; and her aunt, Wendy Scharpf.
