LaSalle, Marshall, and Putnam Regional Schools Superintendent Chris Dvorak says the future of snow days looks mixed. LaSalle County Board member Randy Freeman asked if snow days will be replaced with online learning at home. Dvorak says for a lot of schools that’s not an option, even if remote learning is working well. If there’s a full day of learning, they have to provide meals.
But some schools are able to handle it and they have this winter.
