The number of people losing their lives to COVID-19 every day in LaSalle County remains lower than it was just a couple months ago. But it has become a daily occurrence again. The LaSalle County Health Department reports one more death added to its count Wednesday for 268 so far. The latest is of a woman in her 80’s. There are 3,076 current cases, according to Wednesday’s figures.
