In a bold and innovative initiative, LaSalle Peru Township High School has taken a groundbreaking step by eliminating final exams for qualifying students in a strategic effort to enhance academic performance. Students who achieve an 80% or higher grade in a class and maintain three or fewer excused or unexcused absences will now have the option to exempt themselves from the final exam scheduled for May. The attendance tracking for this exemption will begin today and will be assessed on a period-by-period basis.
